Hi,

Recently I had been given sample of Kiss My Face Cool Mint from one of members. a spot on cream for my face. Keeps it smooth and hydrated.

I need something similar to extend line of creams/soaps I use.

What you would recommend?

I used by now:

TOBS Jermyn ST (good cream)
DR.Harris Arlington Signs011
Speick (no good for me) cream
Palmolive not enough cushion effect
Lider, Wars and Bond Creams, same apply
I colonali same

I like soaps and creams with Shea Butter and/or lanolin.

Ones I've used:
  • RazoRock King Louis Lavender
  • Mike's Natural Soap
  • Provence Sante
  • Mystic Water
  • Musgo Real Cream
  • L'Occitane Cade

I'd be happy to suggest any of these. They're great performers.

I'm surprised to hear the Speick Cream does not work for you. It is about the only tube cream I use now. Leaves my face feeling smooth and refreshed. The Speick After Shave Balm is also one of the best I've used.

To be fair is because I had problem getting a good lather from it. How do you do it?

What is better for sensitive skin Cream or soap? As some cream works better and then I have soap performing better....

Some soaps are better than others for that as you've experienced, but skin hydration is better handled by an "after product" IMO. Yes, I know, I'm prejudiced in that direction.

I find that even ARKO, which has absolutely no skin care properties to be quite useable with proper after care.

Not exactly certain what's going on with the Speick, but use more product. That solves most soap problems.

I take a wet (not dripping wet) brush, either boar or badger and put an almond sized drop of cream on the tip of the brush, I then start to face lather, adding water at needed. I get a rich, thick, creamy lather with the Speick doing it this way.

Personally, I have found the Italian Palmolive cream to be the best I've tried so far. It's a slick cream that is very moisturizing.

I get great results from the following:

GFT Limes Shave Soap - The best for me so far
Spencer & Devon Shave Creams (Scent notwothstanding - get the unscented)
DR Harris Marlborough Shave Soap
DR Harris Almond Shave CREAM
Hirsh Lemon Shave Cream

I used P160 this morning and my face felt almost over moisturized (as a frame of reference I can't use most ASBs for the same reason).
