That was in the 8 O'clock news in all TV channels today, here in Portugal.

There's some specific geographical features on that specific spot on the shore of Portugal (Praia Grande, Nazaré) that create those huge gigantic waves in some times of the year.

This photo is impressive. And no, that is not Photoshop - it is a true photo, taken on the spot:
