As the header says,I found Derby Platinums at Sally Beauty Supply today. They were 2.99 for a 10 pack.I grabbed a pack to try ,since regular Derby has been my standard blade for quite a while.I hope these are a little better.

These are derby's in a red package.I thought they were a different style of blade from the aqua pkg.I have read elsewhere that they were the same blade ,just a different color pkg to show that they are 10 to a pkg.???Guess I'll find out when I open them.

Let us know if they work any differently for you than the Green pack Derby Extras.

Just pointing out for what is to many a local source of blades.Personna blades were 2.69 for 5,personnas can be hit or miss IMO.Derby had a better value point and are pretty consistent.I was also hoping these were a higher grade of blade.

If you keep an eye out the derby vendors on the bay and other places often have great bargains.Years ago I ordered 500 blades (down to my last pack or two)and got 3 tubes of Derby shaving creams(still have them all about 2/3 full) for less than 20 bucks. The creams are decent, good for super lather mixes.

This is also another possible solution for people who want to travel w/ their DE but not pack blades.

Yes. I've seen Sally's in many US cities. I bought a Marvy brush there once when I forgot to bring one.

These blades seem to be the same as the green pack Derby's.At least based upon my shaves there is no difference.Oh well.

They have Red Pack Derbys (and Personnas) at my local Sally's as well as Derby saloon type blades for Shavettes.
