With my latest acquisition, it's time to show off my brushes. Blush I'm not the best photographer, certainly no Teiste.

First, the badgers! Badger

1) Somerset Simpsons Polo 8. This has the lampback on it which helps date it. It was reknotted by Rudy Vey with a TGN Finest knot.
2) My latest acquisition, courtesy of TexBilly: a butterscotch Rudy Vey tulip with a TGN Super knot. Big brush!
3) Rooney Finest 3/1 in ivory fleck. Amazing brush.
4) Semogue Finest (2011 SOC) size 1. A close runner-up to the Rooney Finest when you want that exfoliation feeling.

5) Butterscotch Klenzo, also reknotted by Rudy Vey with a TGN Finest knot. Lots of flowthrough on this one.
6) Rooney "Stubby" 2XL. This is the one with the famous gel-like feeling. Nothing like it.
7) Rooney 3/1 in Super. This was my first "real" brush. I love the tortoise-shell handle; I don't think that is made anymore.
8) Simpson Rover LE, size 2 in Best. Awesome handle.

BOAR TIME!

9) Semogue SOC in cherry. Maybe my favorite boar? It's been well broken in as you can tell.
10) Semogue 1305. I like this one better than the 830 (which I sold some time ago) since this kept the face feel a bit more.
11) Semogue 2030B. Very underrated brush, I really like the metal handle on this, and the hair is really close to the SOC.
12) Semogue 620. This was my main travel brush, but I still like it because it's a face lather machine.
13) Rooney boar. According to Lee Sabini, this was made in the '70s, with the handle made by Wade Ceramics. I don't think it has been used.

Time to MIX IT UP with the Semogue mix knots.

14) Semogue "Il Rasoio". Awesome.
15) Semogue TSN. Awesomer.
16) Semogue SOC 2012. Awesomest? Time will tell.

And the rest...

17) Vie-Long beehive in mixed horse/badger. Much better than the pure horse brush, this is great for face lathering when you want some scrubbiness.
18) Muhle Kosmo Silvertip Fibre (aka synthetic.) This is the horn handle that I absolutely adore; they did a really nice job. I've already raved about the knot, it's soft but with nice backbone. This is my new travel brush but I'm using it even at home. Blush
19) Omega Mighty Midget mixed boar/badger. It's so cute! I should take a photo of it next to the Polo 8 for comparison. This little guy performs like a champ.

There are people with a lot more brushes than me on this forum!

But I'm pretty happy with what I have now.

Unless a Caravela shows up... Shy
