Wasn't sure where to post this, but....

Two little tips.

First. If your fingers are too slippery for your razor, run them over your alum block: instant grippiness!

Second. If you are swimming in the sea and get a sting, use a styptic pencil on the area. Stings of this kind are (usually) a simple chain of protein. Styptic precipitates the protein (breaks it down). You'll feel the results fairly fast (but if it's serious, get first aid). The ingredient in a styptic is alum sulphate, the same ingredient as in "Stingose", which many people apply to sea stings. In Stingose though, the ingredient is dramatically diluted down. Not sure why. Alum sulphate is not gold.

regarding your first point: I've never had a problem holding a razor (if I get soap on my fingers I just rinse them off and pat them dry, that's always been enough for me anyway) but, this works well for getting a grip on that wet skin that you're trying to stretch

Thanks for the jellyfish sting tip. My family member are almost guaranteed to get stung when we go into the surf. We attract stinging sea creatures like Warren Buffet attracts money!

Also if you need to stretch the skin but your face is slippery where you just shaved, the same works for that. I do this when I use a str8.
