Gillette Richwood

Withdrawn

New Improved Open Comb.
Silver plated with a diamond pierced handle.
Matching blade safe.
Wooden case.

The razor is in wonderful condition.
The wood case presents extremely well except for the base (which does not impact on the storage or presentation of the razor).

Ben, Great pictures and nice Richwood. Mine does not have the wood sections inside the box, unfortunately. They shave great with the extra heft and design of the comb. Doug

There is one minor hairline crack. I had not even noticed it until asked.

The top two pictures are taken showing the side with the crack and you can't even see it! The remaining photos are taken from the other side without the crack.

In order to illustrate the crack I have used flash, extreme contrast and black and white to make it stand out and to look as obvious as possible. The result is it appears much worse than it actually is, but at the end of the day, it's there.

Yes, exactly the same as the New Standard

With the different packaging and presentation came different names: The Bostonian, The Traveler, The Algonquin, and The Chippendale. Each came with their own distinctive cases and blade box. There was also a Gold version of The New Standard. The production of these razors ran from 1921 through 1929.
