Hello all,

I found this brush a little while back and was very intrigued by the handle and labeled knot size, so I went out on a limb and purchased one. Well it arrived today and I must say I am 100% pleased, I don't find a single fault in this brush. It's been test lathered once, then shaved with once, and only lost 2 hairs. The handle is very reminiscent of the Vulfix line of 223X brushes, and it quite comfortable to hold. But what struck me most was the handle material. Labeled as "faux agate" it has beautiful swirls of reddish purples and milky whites. It also feels much more dense and solid than I was expecting, leading me to believe it is acrylic and not just molded plastic. My pictures, of course, don't do it full justice.

Here are the dimensions

Hair type: 2-band Finest
Knot: 22mm
Loft: 46mm
Handle Height: 51mm
Total height: 97mm
Weight: 54g
Packed I would say averagely with the hair

So it comes out to be a very well proportioned medium/small brush, with the thicker 2-band hair allowing for the medium density to feel full on the face and still allow for great flow through.

Here are a few more pics, the test lather with some MdC (I like to live on the wild side Tongue) Which was quickly worked into a dense creamy lather.

And the bloom shot, the knot opened up nicely without getting too wide (which I do not like).

It seems to have been quickly accepted by its Badger brethren.

So, my game for you all, is to guess who made this brush. Maybe it will be easy and be over quickly, or maybe this superb little guy will remain a beautiful enigma.

Indeed, not quite as white as the WSP HMW (red/black handle) but whiter than the TGN (black) and more uniform in color than the D01.

I'm pretty dang pleased. Best part, it was $27 shipped.

Yes, my friend, it does, with just a touch of scrub. Quite exquisite in my opinion.

Of the three FS brushes I have owned, this one is much higher quality in my opinion. The first, a 2-band, was much too lofty. The second, a silvertip, was just too big for my tastes. This one... just right Cool

Excellent ! For 27 bucks seems to be a great brush , and with a better looking handle than some other two band "less expensive' brushes out there.
