I'm now awaiting a bottle of Domenico Caraceni 1913 EdT, so I can see what all the brouhaha is about. If I don't like it, I figure I won't have any trouble reselling.

Picked up these two on the bay for just over $50 total. The 50's Aristocrat has some plating loss, but I have a jeweler friend who might re-plate it. The 60's Aristocrat should be here in a week or so, hopefully it looks good too!

I recently ordered the sample kit from Trumper (I have no idea how long thats going to take to get here) and I just got the SOTQ from TSD and I'm pretty excited to see what scents I'm getting.

I have an order on the way from Italian Barber. I'm searching for my "go to" aftershave solution right now. Somehow a new brush ended up in there. Huh
  • RazoRock AS Wax (King Louis)
  • PREP pre/post shave cream
  • Semogue 1305 boar

This order will also give me a chance to meet another Shave Nook-er, who helped me pad the order to get free shipping. Thumbup

I got bad news for you. I've been shaving for over 50 years and the sabbatical has not started.

A few months ago I bought a vintage jar of Penhaligon's Lords shaving cream and was able to reconstitute it by adding water to restore its consistency and scent. It now is my favorite of all my creams and soaps. On a whim I tracked down the guy who sold it to me and asked if he had any others. Well, he had 5 more jars of it and was willing to sell for a great price. So I now have 5 more on the way to me.

Just placed an order with Phil for the SOC cherry handled badger & the Muhle Black Fibre brush with the white handle. I just love the contrast of the white handle with the black fibres.
