Here is a new brush I just received from Rudy using the new Muhle Synthetic knot. Let me tell you this is one fantastic brush! The Synthetic knot feels really soft, but has great back-bone and face lathers like no other brush I have! This brush has put all my others on a shelf.

Can you actually buy the Muhle knot or did you have to buy the whole brush? What is the loft of that beautiful brush?

You can buy the knots directly from Muhle. I guess Rudy bought a few of them when I asked for one. The loft is around 50-52

Thanks!

The base of the brush is 36mm diameter with a height of 55mm. It has a 24mm knot at a 50mm loft.

Chris, that sounds and looks perfect! It is a bit lower lofted for plenty of backbone. Enjoy!

Hi Chris

Thank you Smile

From my very! limited knowledge on synthetic knots I'm guessing your brush has a lot! of backbone?

Proportionally, aesthetically, the brush looks really good in my eyes...

Take care, Mike
