Not long ago, my favorite baseball team won the World Series for the second time in three years. I wanted something to celebrate it that was personal to me, and I settled on getting a shaving brush in the team colors. This took some research, but eventually I figured out what the material I wanted was called. I contacted Rudy, and he had some of it. I knew that I wanted another Shavemac after I got the TSN Anniversary brush. This one has fan-shaped 24mm knot D01 3 band knot, which I've discovered is 26mm coming out of the handle, making this a large (for me) brush. I must say that I am very impressed with the quality of the Shavemac knots. We talked about various handle shapes, but when Rudy told me the he was fond of the PJ style I went with that. He told me this was the first one off the lather since he started making brushes again and I am very impressed with his work. The handle is beautifully turned and has great weight to it. It feels more substantial in my hand than any of my other brushes. I'm already thinking about getting another brush made by Rudy. Pics are his preview and mine after bloom.
