I'm after a specific Gillette Tech 4 piece handle.

It's a variant of this handle shown on Mr Razor's website: http://www.mr-razor.com/Rasierer/Tech/19...ngland.JPG and differs in that it has two rings cut into the knurling at the base of the handle.

There's a photo of one below (which have been copied from a poor quality picture taken from a german ebay auction which I couldn't bid on as the seller wouldn't send the razor to the UK):

I'm not fussed of the condition of the handle - I need one to complete my collection of 4 piece Gillette handles.

Please let me know if you have one that you are willing to part with.

Many thanks. Smile

Curious if othe manufacturers made that handle..

I have a similar one that came to me in a travel case with a Hoffritz slant head... At least, I think that's what you have pictured..[Image: p282547251-5.jpg]

Thanks for posting the picture up Mike.

The handle I'm after was definitely made by Gillette and it follows a pattern which can be seen in other variants of their handles.

Hopefully these pictures will help explain what I mean further:

The handle I'm after is a version of the following handle (a 4 piece Tech handle with a Rotbart-style knurling pattern) but with 2 rings cut into the knurling at the base of the handle.

Thanks again for your help.

I have a Canadian (that one below) and looking for others too. But don't you mean a 4 piece rather than a 4 piece handle? The handle is only two piece, surely? No wait, you just want the handle?

The one I have is the razor only, more's the pity. I'd have liked the whole set. Still, can't complain. It shaves very well.

The Canadian one in the link you posted is the best of the lot IMHO.

You're right - the handle is a 2 piece handle from a 4 piece razor.

I'm just looking to complete the whole set of handles, hence my obsession with getting this particular handle.

I just went through Mr Razor's site and noticed other two-piece handles I hadn't noticed before, traveller sets and so on. Good luck finding the one you want. The Canadian I have was from evil-Pay and the seller didn't know about razors; the handle was kinda fused and seemed just like a standard handle, so it was a good spot on my part Smile. That's how it usually works for me; study the form, see what comes up. I have far less choice in old stores and markets here in Australia it seems; the American, UK and Euro market for Gillettes was much broader, so you have more to choose.

I'd like a decent quality NEW for example. Can't seems to get my hands on one. I have a handle, though Smile
