I purchased this for $22 with free shipping at whatshebuys.com. I've read on this forum though that another site is offering free shipping and a discount not sure which site though. The presentations nice with a sleek black tub with a silver label with light blue writing. The scent is something I can quite place. It's sort of a green tea or honeysuckle scent however my wife smells a light pine. I'm not crazy over it but it's light enough where if you don't like it you will probably just be indifferent to it. I used a Simpson The Duke 3 and it exploded with lather. It lathers very easily and it provides a very slick and protective shave. Afterwards my face felt smooth and moisturized. This is my first AOS product, I've never bought them for some reason thinking they were mass produced but this cream is absolutely top notch stuff and I will be trying their lemon next.

I tried a sample of it and I enjoyed it. Like tgutc mentioned lathering is really easy, the lather is slick and protective. The scent was nice, kind of reminded me of DRH Arlington, but very light. Overall I liked this cream, but there are others I'm thinking of getting first.
In case anyone is interested I received the sample from Gary's Sample Shop: http://sampleshop.blogspot.com/

I smell ocean surf. Not NJ ocean, but beaches in Maui where tourists don't go, but homeless hang out. Its very nice and clean. It does not gunk up my raxor, it washes away clean. I've had some creams stay on after washing and clog my pores or feel tacky, this is a nice product. I liked their Sandlwood, but their Lavender always made me sneeze. It really wips up into a grat lather and doesn't fall flat a minute later. For people who make the dreaded Fusion Razor, their other line , Art of Shaving, is noteworthy. I also like their aftershave lotion, its a non oily, not shiny moisturizer with a clean, frsh scent. Makes me homesick for Hawaii.

I'm a big fan of this cream. I think its made in the UK (the label on back of my jar says something about being from UK). I get a salty/citrus/sweet smell from it. I honestly think the name is really strange; I always associate kelp with harbors and bays and areas that are murky, still water. It if was named something like "surf" or "tidal pool" or something like that, there'd be less trepidation.

Phil they are really good. Lathers easily and has a lot of skin protection. I used the almond which has a nice scent. A tub will last a long time.

I bought a tub of this today, and just had to use it right away. I went looking for a tube, but apparently they don't sell it yet, so I took the plunge and got the full size. I can't place the scent, but it does evoke memories of being on the ocean. I quite like it. Like others have said, this lathers great, very easy, and I was able to get a BBS shave with a blade that should have probably been retired already.
The scent is very light, not overpowering. Not my favorite scent, but I do like it, and it has earned a place in my rotation.
