Many of you know that I'm trying to use up one product at a time. I've let the gracious citizens of TSN pick which product will be used up next. So far the results have been great, and I'm going to do it again, now that the Endymion cream has ~2 weeks left.

I only have one cream left - Kiss My Face unscented, with parabens, so I'm going to keep this in reserve to make superlathers for soaps that need it. I'm also going to keep La Toja off the table for now since that is my usual travel stick.

The lack of creams means I'm going to open this up a bit more, as I wanted to use up the creams before they went.

Vote away!

I've also made it multiple choice this time, so you can pick a few. I'll still go with whatever has the most votes. In the event of a tie, I'll break it Smile

EDIT: and in case this matters, I think the Haslinger Marigold will go the fastest, and the Blenheim Bouquet may take the longest to use.

Perfectly respectable choice. Plus I have the Cade ASL to go with it!

My vote goes to the Ralph Lauren. I remember wearing the Safari cologne for awhile.

MNS Orange+Cedarwood+BlackPepper got my vote ... use it up now, so that when you realize how much you like it, you'll discard the others and stock up on more MNS! Biggrin

I voted for Williams vintage, might as well use up the old stock first. Of course that is just my dealing with inventory control for the last fifteen years effecting my judgement.

Since Arlington is currently winning - anything from the voters as to why they chose it? Always curious Cool

Haha, because I've tried using my Arlington to completion and I nearly went mad due to how long it was taking. And you should share in my misery!

Wink Just kidding, it's great stuff. Performance and scent are both top-notch.

I picked the two C&E soaps. Since you have two, perhaps it would be nice to use one now, then use the other one towards the end of that group.

I voted Arlington since D.R. Harris is my favorite brand alongside JabonMan. What's not to dislike? Amazing scent, wonderful protective lather, and superb after feel.

Summary so far of what I've used:
• 5/9/11-7/22/11: various (20!) cream samples (75 days)
• 7/23/11-8/30/11: QED Lime stick (39 days)
• 8/31/11-9/30/11: Proraso cream (about a third of a tube) (31 days)
• 10/1/11-12/18/11: Arko stick (79 days)
• 12/19/11-3/13/12: Tabac (86 days)
• 3/15/12-4/23/12: Cella (gave up @ 40g to go) (40 days)
• 6/3/12-7/9/12: RazoRock XXX (37 days)
• 7/13/12-7/28/12: Haslinger Marigold (aborted) (16 days)
• 7/29/12-8/21/12: Godrej cream (24 days)
• 8/22/12-9/13/12: Castle Forbes Lime sample (23 days)
• 9/14/12-10/20/12: Acca Kappa cream/tub (37 days)
• 10/22/12-12/7/12: Old Spice cream (47 days)
• 12/8/12-present: Penhaligon Endymion

During May of last year, I tried to use a different product each day as punishment for my product gluttony. I didn't even get through all the products as I have a number of things unopened.

That's cool thanks for posting. Interesting to see how long it took you to get through certain things. 80 days for an Arko Stick is a pretty good value lol. How big was the Castle Forbes sample? I wasn't that surprised it took that long to work through it though that stuff is so dense. A little goes a LONG way.

Castle Forbes is awesome stuff. It's more like a croap than a cream - you certainly have to load it from a container.

How many of these were new? Some of your times seem awfully short. Or at least I'd hope they are. Smile

Nearly all were used just a few times. Arko was new, the Acca Kappa was basically new (maybe used twice) as was the QED. The only one with significant usage was the Proraso.

Very interesting. I guess I'm a little surprised at the number of shaves you got out of some of these, particularly the more expensive creams.

I haven't actually finished anything, yet. Tongue

You mean the Acca Kappa? Yes, I was surprised too. (Castle Forbes was a sample, remember.)

Endymion will last about two and a half months, and isn't that much more expensive than RazoRock croaps on a per-shave basis.

Well, an update.

First, I was way off with my estimate on how much Endymion was left. I emptied the tube out and there was more than expected. I probably have a week left now.

Second, I am hereby overruling the vote. I've decided that due to the tendency for croaps to go off (more than hard soaps which last forever), I'm going to use those first. I have a partial tub of RazoRock Fresco which will be up first; I think mint is perfect for spring. Then RazoRock Caprician Lemon.

Once the croaps are used up (this fall I hope!) then we shall resume voting. Expect to see some nice soaps up like Calani then!
