Gents, check far below to see the final randomized list, the short story is that SavageJoeRude won! Congrats SJR!

Gents, people send me things, and I acquire items from parts unknown lots of times (not this time however), if I acquire items for free I can't possibly sell them, so here are 3 razors that someone will win just by telling me in this thread that you want to participate. I'll draw the winner by random drawing, done by an internet list randomizer. This will run for at least a week, maybe longer at my discretion.

All razors are user grade.

The GEM Jr. Bar lather catcher I've been using for the past week or so as seen in my SOTD posts. For me it's far too mild. But it's a great intro to SE razors for the SE noob. It's also pretty cool. It was first catalogued by GEM in 1907. PanChango sent me this for the same reason I'm moving it on...too mild. I actually think this razor is milder than the typical mild razor I suggest for SE noobs, the Featherweight. Most LCs are far more aggressive IMO, at least the ones that I've used.

The Gold GEM Jr has a baton (Bakelite?) handle that actually feels and works better than it looks. It's one of the 1912 patent family. It's more aggressive than the Jr Bar above. It does have a case, but don't enter the PIF just for the case, you'll be disappointed if you do.

The Open Comb Micromatic (OCMM) is a highly aggressive razor and an extremely efficient whisker mower. It's difficult to put a date on this razor. I believe they were made up to and through at least the 50s. Waveflow sent me the last 2 razors.

Thanks Panchango and Waveflow!

There you have it gents. 3 razors in the range from very early in GEMs history through later GEM production. Also from mild to aggressive.

Rules:
Anyone with more than 100 posts or has been a member for more than 6 months can participate. So if you don't have that # of posts and have been a member for less than 6 months you need to get busy posting. I do ask one thing. You're getting them for free, so if you part with any or all, please PIF them away. CONUS only unless you (international) want to pay the postage.

I'll keep the list of participants below this text. So after posting to the thread check back and make sure you're listed. It's this list that will be randomized.

1. Lindyhop66
2.
3. DoubleB
4. vuk
5. savagejoerude
6. taborcarn

Here's what Random.org fed me after they randomized the list:

There were 6 items in your list. Here they are in random order:

1.5. savagejoerude
2.1. Lindyhop66
3.3. DoubleB
4.6. taborcarn
5.2.
6.4. vuk

OK, I see that you don't have 100 posts, but you've been a member since July. My intent was only serious members take part. I suspect you're a serious member of the forum. I will change the rules to accomodate folks with low post counts yet have been here for awhile.

You're in.

I hope you want the other razors too though. The lather catcher is atypical IMO since it's so mild.

Count me in, I'd really love to try out the 1912 and Gem JR Bar. I already have an OCMM so if I win I'll re-PIF it to the community here.
Thanks Brian and good luck everyone.

Didn't realize that I didn't qualify by the rules. I have a few SE's so I am not really a starter. I am just intrigued by the lather catcher and really want to try one.

I think this PIF would better serve someone else. Kindly count me out.

Sorry SJR, after plugging the hole about low post counts but time on the forum, I can't go back and change it again.

Nice PIF Brian! If I didn't own similar razors I would be all over this, but I'd rather see it go to a newb to SE razors. I have used both the lather catcher and OCMM and they definitely have both ends of the aggressiveness spectrum covered! Good luck to the participants, I hope these go to a good home.
