Well, after almost 2 years, I finally finished this tube of Proraso green original. This was my first ever "real" shaving cream purchase, when I bought a starter's kit from Royal Shave (I didn't know about Bullgoose or the better vendors out there at the time!!). Of course I acquired other soaps and creams after that, and only used the Proraso sporadically until recently I decided to use it up.

I still love Proraso, and now can start using my tub of green (new formula) and white!!

Anyway, I thought this was a badge of honor of sorts, so I thought I would share this accomplishment with the Nook. I think I can now safely say that I am no longer a NoobWink

I am almost out of my tube of green (new formula) that I bought last year. I notice myself using it more the closer it gets to the end. I just want to be able to say I used something up without having to get rid of it (ahem, Caswell-Massey Sandalwood).

Like Maxwell House Coffee. It's good to the last drop/squeeze.

It's incredibly difficult IMO to use something up. Congrats!

BTW, I've been trying to use up 4 soaps for the past few months and while I can see the level going down on each, it's going to be quite awhile before they're gone. Maybe by end of summer at the present rate.

I'd say it's unlike Maxwell House, in that it's actually good, instead of just saying it. Smile

I've been wetshaving since 12/2011, and still haven't actually used anything up besides samples. I haven't even used up an aftershave.

So congrats.

For some reason the Bigelow seems better to me. All psychological, of course. As my father used to say, though "Just because it's psychological doesn't mean it isn't real". Bigelow is the same stuff as Proraso, of course.
