First, a BIG! thank you to Teiste for sending me these 3 shaving brushes to try, review.

(Left to Right) Simpsons Classic 1, Simpsons Duke 3, Shavemac

Below are my brief initial impressions on these three (very nice) shaving brushes...

Shavemac Finest Badger (fan knot):

Beautiful handle, classic clean looks with a few nice details thrown in to make it "unique" looking. Handle has very good weight and feels excellent in hand. Finest hair looks and feels (very) good. Knot appears to have good combination of backbone and flow through -- hair has nice amount of flex.

Simpsons Classic 1 Best Badger:

Nice handle with good weight and feels comfortable in hand. Handle is a little wider than I was expecting, I like it. Knot is made up of very good Best badger hair, densely packed and appears to have good backbone to flow through combination.

Simpsons Duke 3 Best Badger:

Beautiful handle with very good weight and feels very comfortable in hand. Handle is wider than I was expecting, I like it a lot! Knot is made up of very! good Best badger hair, almost Super badger (IMHO), is densely packed and appears to have good backbone to flow through combination..

The plan is to use each brush for a week, then share my thoughts on each brush via a review...

Edit: Fixed grammar in title.

A comparison of these brushes interests me especially due to my recent Duke 3 acquisition after also considering the Classic.

Reminds me: A Scotsman, and Irishman and an Englishman walk into a bar, and the barman says "Is this some kind of a joke?"

Same here, because I recently got the Duke 3 and a Classic 2 (I know, it's not the same...).
