I'm trying to get rid of instead of acquiring new razors, but I keep being tempted by an inexpensive razor I've been seeing called the SABI. I particularly like the ivory colored resin handle one. Anyone tried one and have an opinion about them? I've also seen another ivory colored resin handle razor somewhere, but now I can't find it. Any ideas? Thanks

I have the all metal version and am very happy with it...i can swap out the head with all of my classic Gillette three piece razors. You cant beat it for the price. I have no experience with the model you are talking about..but i imagine it would be similar.

I got aT2 and LOVE it. It is so big and heavy and just mows down the stubble. In fact, I LAN on collecting all the big and heavy SABI's and Cadets.

I have a SABI T4. My primary shaver is a EJ or Muhle and they are just about right but I was looking for something a little more aggressive. While not as aggressive as a Fatip or R41 I found the SABI a little too aggressive for me.

The Sabi heads are very good. Slightly on the aggressive side but not extreme. Very high quality razors made in Taiwan for Shave A Buck.

The T2 is my new favorite. It has a nice heft to it and feels nicely balanced. With a Feather it gives an amazing shave!

I sold my T3 (same head, steel handle).
It is the one razor that tore me to shreds, and I can usually handle aggressive razors (like Open Comb Micromatic) just fine.

Thanks, guys, I appreciate the quick feedback. I'm trying to abstain, but for some reason I really like the ivory colored handle.

I own two of the Sabi T2 razors after waiting for them to become available for several months I wanted to make sure I'd never be without.

While I absolutely love the handle the head leaves much to be desired.

It's not that it is a super aggressive shave mind you but the head itself has sharp edges and even without a blade it in you'd swear you could cut yourself if pressed too hard.

I mounted a Cadet/Little Bastone OC head on it and it is one of my best razors.
It is slightly more aggressive than a FaTip but not anywhere near a R41.

All of the Sabi's use the same head with just differences in the handle length and handle material.

I have several types of heads around so I figure I can find one I like with it if I don't like the SABI head. Thanks again for the input... keep the ideas coming Smile

I have a Lord L6 head mounted on a sabi 2 handle. This gives a great shave.
