And if so, how?

I have a drawer in a dresser/cabinet that has become my "brush drawer." I sort of like the idea of keeping the majority of them in there as to avoid collecting dust and, perhaps more importantly, to keep from reminding my wife how many brushes I might have at one time. Biggrin But, I also enjoy restoring vintage brushes and I'm thinking it might be interesting to display some of those somehow. I'm just wondering if/how others have done this.

In case it isn't obvious, we need PHOTOS!

You should check out the "Collections and Storage" sub. Display porn galore.

Here is my shaving wall:

I work from home and and have my brushes including my daily rotators on display in my office. I also have a rack to hold razors but my daily shavers are in the bathroom.

Haha, I just got lost in there for about 30 minutes after posting my question. I didn't know that sub forum was there until today!

Moe, have you ever heard of butterscotch brushes? I've heard they are fun to collect. Wink That is amazing, sir. I'm afraid (or not?) that I will need an area like this if I stay on my current brush pace. But yes, this is a good example of what I am trying to avoid as far as my collection being in my wife's view!

This is why it's hard to find butterscotch brushes. Moe has got them all. Smile

Nice collection Moe!

I'm afraid having all my brushes on display would not go down well with SWMBO...

+1 I am hiding my razors.

At one point my wife checked the box and found 16 razors. "WT* you had 5 razor how the hell you have 16?!"

I have mine on two top shelfs in my office at home, so not displaying them per se, but they are visible Biggrin

I'm hovering around the 50'ish mark for brushes, and 20'ish mark for razors.

I've found that using all the shelves and spacing the brushes out allows you to sneak in a few here and there over time, all the shelves had brushes, they just slowly started to get fuller, not sure how that happens Rolleyes

Believe it not, I don't think i've bought a butterscotch off the bay for over a year...... Not that my mouse hasn't hovered above the "Place Bid" area. Smile

I am a fortunate man. My wife is a decorator. And she supports my shaving hobby.

She also does my display. Here's a photo that represents her work. The arrangement changes about every month.

I display seven at a time. Six in the rack in my shave case and one drying in the stand. Those six are what's in rotation and I swap out one or two that are boxed and stored in the draw at the bottom of another case. No particular pattern or order to when or how many I change.
