Myrsol makes four different aftershaves. An Emulsion, Agua Balsamica, Special K (mentholated) and Lemon. My dad has the Agua Balsamica and it's one of his favorites. I just ordered the lemon and I will let you know what it's like when I recieve it later in the week.

I have a sample of the Agua Balsamica from Garry's Sample Shop and it's grown on me quite a bit. I'm just about out of my sample and will probably buy a full size bottle. It feels great on the skin and the scent stays for about 30 minutes or more for me. Perhaps it's subliminal because of the name, but I get notes of balsam fir from this, though the description says it has lavender, rosemary & thyme.

Gents, here my thoughts about Myrsol range of Aftershaves.

If you like peppermint, then go to Formula K. For summer. Probably is the strongest menthol of them, also with Agua de Limon.
If you like violet, then go to Formula C. Is delicious. I like it a lot, a lot.
If you like herbal scents, then go to Agua Balsamica (rosemary, lavander and thyme). Mediterranean countryside!!!
If you like old barbershop scents, then go to Antesol and Emulsion. Antesol is delicious. Emulsion is the brand flagship product. Both can be used as pre and post shave products.
If you like Floid, then go to F/EXTRA, a bit softer, but more classy. Excellent.
If you like Floid Blue or Aqua Velva, then go to Blue. It is better, more classy also.
If you lilke lemon, then go to Agua de Limon, but you must like lemon scent, certainly.
Plastic is strange, in my oppinion. I do not have a clear oppinion yet.
The only I lack is Metilsol. (And Electric Shave, obviously)

Hope it helps.

My opinion @lee, Metilsol is very similar to Agua Balsámica with the addition of alum (potassium alum). It works magic for little cuts and likely not recommended for dry skins.

I love it.

Dan, they are fine products with very good healing properties. The only one I have yet to try is the emulsion but it gets overall good marks from the community.

The Metilsol is in my line up as well as the Agua Balsamica. I have dry skin an neither of these bother me.

I have the Emulsion, Blue, F/Extra, Limon, Metilsol, and Agua Balsamica. They are all great products in my regular rotation of after shaves.

I tried the emulsion for the first time today as an after shave balm. I like the scent...not to potent, but pleasant. Goes on like your wife's cold cream and has the same consistency.

Watch your bottle so that your wife does not steal it. Do not let your guard down for a moment. Mr Miquel told me that a customer did this happen. When a woman discover the effect of the emulsion after legs depilation, she loves it.

I just had my first go with the Emulsion today as well, I was scared at first, but wow does it absorb and do wonders for your skin. Paired with a La Toja stick, my face feels amazing and no irritation at all, this is a pair I'm going to use a lot in the future!

Okay, the bottles are some of the best in all aftershavedom (not as nice as the flasks Krampert's comes in, though). The old-world mystique intrigues. I believe there will be a bottle or two in the next big order I place.

I've long been a fan of the Floid range but had to try these Myrsol products. I received 5 bottles a week ago and so far am loving the variety. The glass bottles are a nice touch too.

Dangit I love Floid Blue. Now my interest has turned to Myrsol Blue, K, and Metisol. I guess I will be spending some more money in the future.

I'd love to hear your impressions of the Myrsol vs. the nearest-corresponding Floids.
