Here's my rotation of shaving brushes. All homemade handles. I'm fat and happy with the performance of them. I might have another Shavemac and synthetic in my future but right now I'm pretty content to play with these.
So we have one Shavemac knot, one Muhle knot, one TGN knot and 3 WSP knots. Three 23mm knots and three 28mm knots.

Dam it! Would y'all stop posting these pics. My SBAD was pretty much in remission. I'm starting to feel itchy all over and my brush rotation suddenly seems anemic and in need.

Agreed, they are all nice but that one is my favorite too.

Dittos. And the faux marble(?) to the right.

Beautiful work.

I especially like the one on the right in the second picture - the pearl stubby. What's the loft on that 28mm WSP knot?

Steve, excellent work. Six days a week are covered. A day of rest for the seventh, or are you working on a new brush? Biggrin

50mm, I played with all the lofts extensively to get them where I wanted. If I missed it might have been on the Shavemac knot, I'd like to have it a couple of mm higher now but I played around with it forever and decided to go shorter.

Tough to answer. I like them all. The brush I use the most is the 23mm Muhle fiber (@ 52mm loft), no muss, no fuss just a straight up good shaving brush. Of the badgers I'd have to say the WSP 23mm HMW, this probably my favorite brush. Opens up nicely on your face when lathering, soft but firm, just a really nice feeling brush. It's a tough call, I like the pearl stubby too. At any rate I'm fairly content for a while.
