For the most part I use Adobe's Premiere Pro CS3.

There are newer versions out, but they are expensive. This is paid for and works well enough for my needs.

To be honest, most of the hard work was messing around with the camera & tripod and figuring out how to position myself. The rest was just typing and simple cutting.

Pinnacle Studio is a good one, even if it might do more than you need. The last nine videos I uploaded to YouTube from my ToD in South Sudan was all edited with it - adding pans and dissolves and titles and everything is a breeze.
