I was wondering 'why iridium' on blades (I don't feel iridium blades to be any better, personally, than platinum coated, and they are in the same group of metals in any case), so i did a bit of searching and then came across this razor....anyone going to get one? I mean, you think your RAD is bad? This is the litmus test:

That one pops up from time to time...I'm sure someone owns one, but I certainly never will.

Lazy or CRAZY... ?

I've seen it before too, but I'm not even intrigued by this tool, it's beyond the reach of 99.99% of the population and I'm confident you could achieve just as good a shave for under $100.00. But there could be 99 people out there that say I'm wrong (as that's how many that were made)...

I don't care how rich you are buying one of those would just be stupid. You might as well just throw money down a hole.

Gents interested in the above might also wanna consider the damascene razor, hand-forged in Germany using 128 layers of damascene steel and then dipped in pure platinum. Most expensive straight edge @ $30k USD?

PS - Also, the handles on some of them brushes would make exquisite candidates for reknotting. What have ya'!
