Had to make the scales for this one over Xmas when I was home and finally got around to putting an edge on it.

Steel is Hitachi Blue Steel #2.
Size is 15/16 to 17/16 Wide
Scales are Carbon Fiber with lime green spacer

Amazing work, I have a Vintage NOS Japanese razor made by and from Hitachi steel, probably my finest razor and without doubt the most beautiful blade I've seen. PS you are a lucky Man how did you mange to get hold of the Steel as the Japanese don't like to hand over or usually sell their premium steels?

There is a company in Germany (Dictum) that gets Japanese steel and sells Hitachi white #2 and Blue #2. Shipping is outrageous and the steel isn't cheap, but I placed a fairly large order awhile ago and have quite a bit of white remaining.

The blue I only got enough for 2 pieces. The razor pictured and this one I made for myself:
