Had to make the scales for this one over Xmas when I was home and finally got around to putting an edge on it.

Steel is Hitachi Blue Steel #2.
Size is 15/16 to 17/16 Wide
Scales are Carbon Fiber with lime green spacer

Enjoy!

Thanks guys!

This one is on its way down under. Sometimes it is hard to part with these, but I'm comforted knowing I can make another!

Amazing work, I have a Vintage NOS Japanese razor made by and from Hitachi steel, probably my finest razor and without doubt the most beautiful blade I've seen. PS you are a lucky Man how did you mange to get hold of the Steel as the Japanese don't like to hand over or usually sell their premium steels?

Jamie.

Jamie.

There is a company in Germany (Dictum) that gets Japanese steel and sells Hitachi white #2 and Blue #2. Shipping is outrageous and the steel isn't cheap, but I placed a fairly large order awhile ago and have quite a bit of white remaining.

The blue I only got enough for 2 pieces. The razor pictured and this one I made for myself:
