The amputation went well. Stayed in the hospital 3 days. Phantom pains hurt like hell. Its crazy having a foot that no longer exists still hurting. Imagine feeling pain coming from the arch of your right foot. You feel it. It IS there, but you look down and your foot is gone. I attempted to post a photo from my iPad but something is not synching right. When I hit "insert into post" my iPad does nothing.

Ok, it did transfer. If any off you wished are curious I have no qualms taking the dressing off.

Best wishes on a quick recovery! Hopefully the phantom limb pain will diminish over time or respond to treatment.

Wishing you a full speedy recovery. How long do they say the phantom pains will last?
