I picked up a pack of these Gillette blades in a pharmacy in Central America. It's a packaging I've not seen before.

Does anyone know what they are?

Thanks.

They're exactly what they say they are, Gillette Super Thins. Here is a link to them on Connaught Shaving.

And another one for Razor Blades and More

Interesting thank you. The package is in Spanish and does not indicate the country of manufacture. At the 3 websites mentioned, one says China, one Vietnam and another Thailand, not that it matters.

These were available in Mexico a few years ago, made in Brazil, according to folks who brought them back and distributed them.

Do a forum search for "mejorada" on B&B for more detail. One comment there indicates that the Mejorada has been discontinued.

I asked in a "super thin" thread here if the "super thin" Thai/Viet and China blades had replaced the mejoradas in Mexico and South America, but got no response.

The package is clearly different from the ones pointed to by "Jabberwock", and is probably old stock Gillette Brazil in origin.

Interestingly, upon opening an individual blade, it says Brazil right on each blade.

The down side; the glue spots are so large that they extended all the way to and over the edge in some spots. Nail polish remover took it off easily.

I'm not sure that this is Gillette's best effort. I've yet to shave with it but will give a review when I do....
