I was looking into getting an Above the Tie razor.
I love the fact that they come in three options, but I know that "aggressiveness" is subjective.

I own and love my Tradere SB and wondered if anyone could share with me their opinion as to which one of the Above the Tie settings might be most like my Tradere.

Thanks.

Hi

If you've not already seen this thread, Stainless Steel Shootout... I recommend taking a look at, it contains a lot of helpful and useful information relating to "modern" stainless steel DE razors.

Take care, Mike

Here is a review and an interview written by Jim (Codfish) on the ATT razor system and with Stan Hickam.

the titan R1 is superfantastic and currently made me sell of all my other razors.

Does the top cover the entire blade, or does the blade stick out a bit like the Weber razor?

(03-13-2013, 07:07 PM)jmsodpc Wrote: yes...titan R1 had lots going for it....great fit and finish, nice weight, good grip, nice auditory feedback from the blade, nice way the blade fits into the razor that gives perfect alignment.

only possible thing i would have liked better wouldve been deeper knurling on the handle like the bulldog handle has....

It is like the Weber (rather than the iKon) to where the ends of the blade show.

I, for one, prefer razors this way. To me, it makes blade replacement easier.

I agree, i got used to blade replacing on my Titan, the small pegs are easy to clean too.
