Finally got this in and lathered it up today and all I can say is "Wow!" Loads quickly, lathered right up with less water than I expected, and stayed super-moist my entire shave!

Really neat texture to it as well, very pliable, almost like play-doh but softer (does that make any sense?).

And boy is this stuff slick! Minor nits were the scent (I liked it, but didn't blow me away), and cushion was only above average (but again this is my first time shaving with it).

Face was super-soft post-shave with no irritation.

In short, if you can get some of this stuff, I highly recommend it - will hopefully be available on a more regular basis.

Think this one is going to be my new favorite, even better than Mike's or my Razorock croaps (which I both love!).

Actually not sure - he gave me an extra sample that wasn't labelled. Had a smoky smell to it, its actually starting to grow on me (I keep going into the bathroom for a smell...)

PannaCream? I just Scroogled it and I can't find anything related to shaving cream. Where can I find more info?

Thanks for the quick review. Been wondering about this stuff. I always seem to miss it when its in stock. Stuff sells out quick. That's got to be saying something.

I know how things get lost in the shuffle here, so for those that did not see it, here was my review back in January.

Yes Johnny, now I recall your review, and thank-you for the link! The lather looked very slick in your picture, did it thicken nicely?

I am waiting to pounce on some, but they have not restocked recently. I hope they produce enough that they will be able to fulfill the orders of those waiting for some, or they will definitely loose out on future customers.

Excellent review Johnny, I had missed it, so I thank you for the post and reminder.

You really need to pounce when he produces a new batch folks. There's a reason why he's always sold out. I've seen the soaps sell out in minutes when I was flopping back and forth on scents and I've just flat out missed the boat because of it. I won't make that mistake this next time.

Previous to this most recent batch his soaps would be available for a couple of weeks after made available. This last batch sold out so quickly because of all of the attention drawn to it at another board. I will get some of this soap at some point, but I am patient and there haven't been any reviews or lather pictures that really make me believe that this product is as superior as the current hype suggests. I do expect to see quite a bit of this soap on the various BST rooms eventually as people that bought a half dozen soaps get bored with them. Then I won't have to wait as long nor hopefully pay as much.

That's a good point. I never considered that angle.

Maybe, but you won't see mine on the BST!

2nd shave today I used a little less water and got the cushion I was looking for!

This stuff lathers easier than the Razorock Croaps that I have tried (including King Louis Lavender Karite), has the best cushion and glide I've experienced, and moisturizes post-shave as well as Mike's or Mystic Water IMHO.

It kind of takes the challenge out of shaving - I don't think I could mess up the lather on this if I tried...

Have you also tried MdC? I ask because that last statement of yours is about how I feel regarding MdC. I'm curious to hear your comparison if you can.
