I have seen two artisans that make this scent. QCS and Mystic Waters. Has anyone tired either of these two or both? Are they close to the real Creed? How do they compare to each other? I love my Creed cologne and would love a soap to go with!

I will defer to Greg/Palpz's review.

I've only tried the mystic waters version, but I feel the same as the review. The scent is not that strong (or great) but it does hang around for a bit. I disagree on the soap not being slick though, it is very slick. I found MW pretty hard to lather, until I threw a soap shredding brush at it (SOC 2012 and Simpson Jubilee), then I got great lather. But again, the scent is nothing to write home about.

I've tried MW. I liked the scent and the soap is a proven performer. I've never had the opportunity to try the real Creed, so I can't comment on the likeness.

I've used Mystic Waters version but have not used the real version to compare it too. YMMV of course but I found it impossible to make a usable lather from Mystic Water.

I've had a tub of the QCS (croap version) for about 6 months, it's not as strong as the cologne. The actual scent, to me anyway, is more like watered down GIT after it's had a few hours to dry down and mellow out. It has more in common with Cool Water in my opinion, which smells fantastic and similar to GIT..but there are differences. It's very up front and fragrant while shaving but doesn't linger more than maybe 15-20 minutes after shaving.

It's hard as ****, but I finally figured out how to do it and made a video. Lather was good. Now, is it worth all that work.... I don't know.

Easy as pie for me, though I haven't tried the MW Irish Traveller yet.
