Whee in Russia are you going to be? There are plenty of creams and balms but not much else. Major supermarkets will have a shaving aisle, there are some "drugstores" that also carry creams and blades.

Nope, there is nothing "fancy" available. You can pick up cheap Ladas and Rapiras though. Russian wetshavers in the know order their blades just like we do Smile

Look for good creams. The Russians put out some really nice shave creams. Nord Ost, Tet-a-Tet, Everest, Eveline, Apple Blossom, and CTAPT (start) are all good shaving creams.

If you don't understand the alphabet, this means Cream for Shaving (Крем для бритья). Pay attention to the middle word and you will be able to differentiate between shaving cream and After Shave Balsam (Бальзам после бритья).

Enjoy your trip.

Very Nice. I have two of those Tet-a-Tet and Everest. Both are nice creams.

Have you tried the Nivea yet?

Yes it's a good cream too , all of them are easy to lather maybe lack a little slickness but i need to try them more because i just shaved with each of them once and was changing blade and water could have played a role too.

I guess you can go visti the Astra razor blade factory? LOL

I didn't know Arko was made in Russia?

Does anyone know if Russia produces any higher end shaving goods (other than Astra blades)?
