I think I've finally gotten all my birth year razors (actually found all of them in the last week or so on the Bay) short of one and I'm not even sure I could find one of these.

1973 T TTO/DE/Tech/TracII
TracII introduced as "GII" outside North America

I have the TTO Adjustable, TTO Superspeed, and a Tech. I guess I need a Trac II Handle from 73, but did Gillette Date code the Trac II handles? If they didn't is there some sort of marking that would help me track it down? Thanks for any response and thanks to Renaldo for making the search easier!!

Yay! I used to have a 1973 superspeed, but superspeeds and I loathe each other so much that it vanished. I have a short handle and long handle adjustable. I don't know if I ever had a 1973 tech.

If you are going to include the TracII, you might as well include the Schick Injector. In 1973, they were using the shifter knobs. However, how to tell which Trac II and Shifter knobbed Injector was from 1973, I wish I knew.

I was born in 1955 so when I get in a reminiscent mood I go over to YouTube and watch a commercial of Brooklyn Dodger players shaving (Pee Wee Reese, Roy Campanella) in a Gillette commercial. Biggrin

The "Schick Stick" was in fact introduced in 1973, and I used one in 1974. It was one of my early razors, but it was an injector and I never had much luck with injectors.

I remember the TV commercials with a guy making a manual transmission sound while he was shaving. I got it for the novelty of it.

I have a birth year Schick G1 that my father bought. It has never been used and is locked in my safe deposit box along with an unused 1945 Military issue E3.

I think only the Gillette Black Handle Super Adjustable was made in 1987 so I'll have a time finding one. not sure about schick adjusters or other products.

The older you get, the less you think about your age... Or is it the less you want to think about it. LOL

I got my T4 Adjustable in the mail today and had a shave with it. It's a short handled one and I really enjoyed it. From reading online, I think I'm only missing a long handled black beauty, a travel tech, and an Atra handle. I hope I can find them soon.

Anyone know the latest year of Gillette Super Adjustable? The B&B wiki page says they were made up to 1988 (yes we all know I'm a youngin) so supposedly that would be an I date code, can anyone confirm they were made for that long?
