I wonder if anhone with knowledge can tell me how the size of these 3 brushes vary ?

Specification wise they are pretty close if not identical - but how do they feel in the hand ?

I have owned the Duke 2, and while it was a great brush in best hair, I found that I preferred the Duke 3 because of the larger handle size and the larger knot.

If I find the Duke 2 handle on the smaller size of things, will I like the Classic 2 and the Queen Eliza LE brushes handle wise/size ?

You see, I consider getting the little fellow - the Queen Elizabeth Manchu and maybe a Classic 2 in Best....
I do own a 42 mm M&F Butterscotch Blonde Badger, and that handle is the aboslute minimum size wise I can enjoy using.

I use it solely for my Acqua Di Parma cream (which means I maybe use the brush 8-10 times a year) because they just match so well size wise, hair quality wise and the ADP pot is quite narrow, so don't like to scoop the croap with one of my largr Chubby 2's because the outer hairs in the knot will bend because the pot is quite narrow.

BTW am I the only one that buy brushes to fit my collection of shavig creams/croaps and their pot size Tongue

Castle Forbes Lime and Lavender both have a very wide pot, so I can save my larger brushes for my CF creams Cool

Thanks for helping Smile

Claus, I don't own (and have never owned) a Duke 2 or Classic 2, but I can provide a size comparison of the Duke 3, Jubilee and Classic 1 (all in Manchurian).

I hope this helps a little...

Handle heights:

Duke 3 ... 46mm
Jubilee ... 42mm
Classic 1 ... 38mm

The Duke 3 has long been my preferred brush, but I must admit my Jubilee sees more use currently...

I believe the Classic 2 will be approximately 40mm, 2mm shorter than your acceptable limit, so I'm of the belief you will not be satisfied with the CL2.

The Jubilee is a wonderful brush. I thoroughly recommend it and it conforms to your minimum handle height requirements!

But, the Duke 2 is around the same height as the Jubilee (42mm)...

My pleasure Claus, let us know what you decide on.

And just to throw a spanner in the works, perhaps you should consider something from the fifties range... ?

I'd suggest considering a 55. It has a handle height of around 44.5mm and is a similar shape to the Duke and Classic, albeit slightly elongated.

Many thanks.

Certainly Arash. It's night time here in Australia, so I will do it for you in the morning.
