Greetings everyone!

My name is Ben (aka ben74). Recently the Mod Team have been assigned ownership of specific sections and guess what... one of mine is the brush section!

I own quite a few brushes, all badgers except for 3 badger/boar mixed knots from Semogue. I own so many badgers that everyone's favourite member, Johnny provided me with the title: "Lord of the Badger."

The point of this thread is simply to direct any queries in regards to the brush section in my direction. I will do my best to answer any questions quickly, but you must remember I'm in Australia - so there is a time difference and I maybe asleep rather than ignoring you! If there is anything at all that raises your concern or requires some input or adjudication please don't hesitate to send me a PM.

Sometimes discussions can become heated when emotions cloud the actual topic of discussion, my goal is to promote positive discussion and an environment where everyone feels safe to make positive contributions. In rare and extreme situations, some discussions are best by PM until the tone is under control and the facts of the issue have come to light.

I want to make the Brush section an invaluable part of this forum, but I can't do it without you. Let's get some more topics up in this section, more reviews and more of anything brush related.

Thank-you!

Good idea Ben.

What you could do is How to care for your brush after shaving. Many people dont know how to do that or do it wrong. Combine the theories like Brush drying in upside down and Hair up positions.

I had learnt how important is care for your brush long life. Or you can move a full topic like that to how to section and put link here

Jack

Congrats Ben!
You go from de facto brush ninja to an official position in the site's hierarchy.

This was a good move by the site's ownership. One would be hard pressed to find anyone else more qualified for the position :-).

Congrats Ben. Actually, if anyone but you had been designated to moderate this forum, I would have been very shocked.
