I'm amazed that a straight razor can be sharpened in under a minute and a half. Biggrin

OK, so humor aside, is there an "average" time that it takes to do all of that? I assume there are tests along the way before moving on? I'm not looking for trade secrets, I'm only curious.

About half an hour including setup and lapping the stones.

Decade of practice. Wink

Takes hours to do what the machine does in five minutes though. Edit: That said, it also takes half a second to destroy a razor on it.
