It looks like Paypal has completely revamped their personal payment options and there is no longer a Payment Owed option. In fact, the only options are 1)goods/services and 2) friends/family. When did this happen?

There used to be a 3rd option but maybe it was limited to merchant accounts...I do not know.

It happened yesterday. They removed the tabs and the option. Internally it's all the same.

No. Payment owed was a form of personal payment (fees paid by buyer) while Invoice is a regular transaction (with line items) and the fees are paid by seller.

Oh, so invoice is when someone invoices you and you pay the fees because PP fees aren't included in the invoice amount.... got it.

Do your research, show them your figures from EDMUND's WHAT OTHERS IN YOUR AREA ARE PAYING printout and tell them they have 30 minutes or you are going else where. Or some manufacturers have a feature on their website where you can get the 3 dealers closest to you to submit their best deal. Be firm but polite, let them know your time is important. Don't take your wife when it's time to deal. Take her for test drives but ditch her and come back later to deal.

I believe this was just posted to the wrong thread even though Blue Line was answering in the correct thread. Phil had the same problem elsewhere on the site. Sad
