It was Father's day in Spain the last 19 of March and Vie Long made this brush, alongise another with a different handle, using the two band badger brush.

I got the brush today, and I only can say, well done Vie Long!

The brushes are using two new handles (mine is the 16041 and the other is the 16602) that would be introduce on the market in the next couple months.

The hair of the brush is their "tejon blanco dos bandas" (white badger two band) with has a lot of backbone and kind of soft tips, but the tips would be much softer in a couple weeks or more use.

The brush its densely packed with that white badger two band hair and it has a 20mm knot with a 51mm loft, perfect,I think, for facelathering.

Here is a pic after I palm lather some Prairie Creations shaving soap :

and this is how its "blooming" looks :

As I said, this is a really beautiful brush, well made and designed by Vie Long with a good quality two band badger hair.

I saw this in your SOTD and was curious as to what it was. I may keep my eye out for them when they are released, I love the simple, elegant handle.

Normal for a two band hair, but with some use,the "scritchyness" would be gone.I have two other Vie Long brushes with the same kind of hair that now has soft tips, not as soft as the Vie Long silvertip hair brushes, but soft like other two band brushes like the Morris and Forndran blonde badger hair.

Good, good. I need more ammunition in the "relative addiction" discussions that come up with my wife. Smile
