Hi, tonight I have a very special event and I finished one my EDT's past week. I have an Acqua di Parma store very near my house, so I have been tempted. Which Cologne or EDT do you recommend from a personal experience?

I cannot use colognes or EDT's, but I've read great praise about the Russian Cologne and EDT.

They are ALL fantastic IMO but the original is a true classic and must be experienced.

That said, the longevity of the original on my skin is only about 3-4 hours. By then, it is quite difficult to appreciate.

I would have to agree with dcappa. The Intensa is really the way to go if you want any longevity on your skin. If you can reapply during the day, do check out the original also.

Colonia is my pick, although as already mentioned it suffers from longevity issues - 3-4 hours longevity with 1-2 hour projection.

Perfect office scent. Inoffensive. Great. Classic.

Would the Essenza be closest in scent to the shaving soap? It seems to be the only one that contains rosemary, I noticed.

I have all four acqua di parmas
Colonia
Assoluta
Intensa
Essenza

Colonia is just pure citrus to me.
Assoluta smels like colonia with a little urine in it. Its so disgusting.
Intensa is preety good
Essenza does smell a lot like a natural scent of a man. It doesnt even smell like you have a cologne on. It does smell like a masculine soap. Its amazing.

I really like the original because of its simplicity, wonderful refreshing scent, and it's history. Worn by Cary Grant, Audrey Hepburn, etc. it is excellent in summer. But as others have mentioned, the scent doesn't last all that long.
