FOUND IT! THANKS TO THOSE WHO RESPONDED.

I'm looking for an unloved 170g or 200g jar of Martin de Candre shaving soap.

Let me know via PM, please.

Ken,
Have you tried this soap? I can send you a sample if you want.

Ain't it great when a fellow Texan steps up to the plate!

Sully, I'm down to my last 170g container of MdC and I'm getting nervous.

Thanks so much for the offer, though!

You're welcome Ken.

You're down to your last 170g jar? How many have you used up? I have the wooden bowl and a jar. My wooden bowl is almost empty.

Blush Well .... I've only used up 3 so far. Blush

My Immediate Supervisor and I are traveling to Europe next month, but we won't be getting close enough to the factory to stop by. I've contacted MdC to see where their stores are located, but they apparently don't have much appreciation for my half-baked French, because they haven't got back to me yet (and yes, I also included an English version of the question!).

The soap has an interesting phenomena - it's sort of like the fuel gauge in my car - the first 30 or so uses, it doesn't seem to be going down at all, then WHOOSH!... I'm looking at the clear glass at the bottom of the jar!

That's interesting. I've only used mine 3 times so far, but I can see this being a well used soap.
I see we're from the same neck of the woods so if you're close to Frisco maybe we can group buy soon.

I'm in the mid cities for the time being. Would be interested in that as well.
