I discovered vintage Avon bottles right after I stumbled upon wetshaving. Who knew it would become almost as powerful an AD as razors?Rolleyes

So for you similarly afflicted Avon aftershave aficionados, what do you have in the way of these great bottles?

Here's my collection as of a couple months ago, with some glass Old Spice bottles thrown in for good measure!

I don't really collect it, I do have 3 of the old "Chess" decanters but only because they contain the 1970's formulation of Wild Country aftershave, which is much better stuff than the current formula.
I will probably stock more in the near future just to be safe..they made so much of that stuff I don't know if it will ever really be hard to find.

I have two Queen decanters so only took a shot of one.

I have 3 or 4 cars. One with wild country in it. I keep forgetting about it under the counter.

The only Avon bottles I purchased for the bottle itself are the barber pole, shaving brush, DE razor and a few apothecary bottles. I also have a book, jeep, car, statue of liberty and bishop chess piece but I bought these specifically for their contents.

My Dad had the entire chess set when I was a kid. Alas, I discovered my newly acquired interest in vintage Avon bottles about 6 months after he had given them all away at a yard sale!

Dave, when I first viewed your Barber Pole pics it was on my phone. Now on my laptop, I see the Razor and Brush bottles beside it too. Fantastic! Biggrin

Thanks Ben! These were all scores off eBay for around $7 delivered. They don't seem to be that rare, but good deals are.
