Looking for a used Badger size 1 to compliment the size 2 I already own. Let me know if you aren't getting along with yours.

How scritchy is the size 2? Is it harsh on the face?

1 word...NO.

i would say the #1 is more scritch on the face, purely because the knot is shorter and denser, at least that was my experience.

#1 for face lathers, #2 for bowl (but i use my #2 for both)

I use the #2 entirely for face lathering. It has more than sufficient backbone and is the closest thing to my Rooney 1/2 Finest I've found.

Mods - you can close this thread as I'm no longer looking for the aforementioned brush.
