Let's make our predictions now and see if anyone gets it right. Who will win the MVP and Cy Young awards this season?

My predictions:

AL MVP: Mike Trout

AL Cy Young: Chris Sale

NL MVP: Matt Kemp

NL Cy Young: Stephen Strasburg

What are your predictions?

So, if the 1983 Phillies were the "Wheeze kids" and the 1950 Phillies were the "Whiz kids", is it a stretch to call the 2013 Phillies Triple A team the "Wizz kids"? Biggrin

Only in the minor leagues can this happen.

Johnny, if it's a success it will only be a matter of time before you'll be able to see idiocy like this in the majors. Rolleyes

Freddy...if it is a success, they will eventually have it at the national tea and fountain pen convention. Tongue

Cy Young - Justin Verlander who is IMHO the best pitcher in the Majors.

MVP - I don't think it will be Mike Trout only because he is a rookie. It definitely will not be Ryan Braun because he is associated with roids.

MVP - Miguel Cabrera without any doubt.

AL Cy Young - Justin Verlander
NL Cy Young - Stephen Strasburg

AL MVP - Mike Trout
NL MVP - Joey Votto

I was going to go with Votto for N.L. MVP and he definitely has an excellent chance to win.
