Ben,
I'm fond of the shoulderless design and you have some pretty ones there. Can't wait to hear how shaving with them goes.

Yes, I prefer the shoulderless aesthetically...

Still trying to decide if it offers more flex...

For anyone unsure of shoulder versus shoulderless the picture below clearly illustrates the difference more clearly...

And the general anatomy...

That Teak Handled DX would look just fine setting next to that TI collection.

Ben, what a fabulous collection of: Thiers Issard razors along with your TI brushes..... Do you keep these in a TI set box, that would be nice.

I remember quite a while back you were looking @ the TI travel box, whilst they are not cheap they look superb.

An amazing sight, Ben! I love the unmistakeable TI burl scales. You either love them or hate them, but I'm definitely in the former category. Thanks for posting.

Beautiful collection Ben!
I have only 3 TIs myself but they are some of the finest straights in my rotation/collection.
Round points are usually my least preferred but Le Grelots are incredible shavers and pretty good lookers as well.
You have a fantastic sliver of them. Thanks for sharing the pic!

It is the Crown Silverwing Third Edition limited to 350 pieces.
The Crown and Fleur de Lys motif is cut in to the spine of the blade.
The scales and the box are made from 100 years old cuban mahogany.
11/16 blade made from Carbonsong C 135 steel.
1/4 grind like the legendary Le Grelot.

(The 3 pictured above it are also LE "Silverwing" razors)

The second last is the "Jewel of France" with bone scales and detailed spine.

The "Crown Wing" (4th from top) and the "Oak Wing" (3rd from top) both have detailed spines too!

As for pronunciation, visit this link:

Select a French Voice and type the text in the box and hit play!
