Apparently the team at Lay's see the flavour as a million dollar idea...

For a mil, I'd eat em! Tongue

Real chicken & waffles is great and popular/traditional in the South. Not sure about that vibe on chips, tho! Doubt

My family likes them. They really are not that bad. I thought they would be terrible too.
At first you taste maple syrup then the savory flavor of fried chicken.
The other new flavors are Chessy garlic bread and Sriracha chips (my favorite).
Here in the Pittsburgh area all the new flavors are flying of the shelves.

I'm waiting for the hot fudge sundae chips that are sure to be coming out soon.

Real chicken and waffles is delicious! First time I heard of it I thought there was no way I would want to try it. But they are truly a treat. Doesn't mean it needs to be made into a 'potato' chip though.

Not a flavor of potato chip I'd go out of my way to buy, that's for sure. I think the only way I'd try them is if they were offered at a party.

I've been intrigued by this since I first saw the commercial. Unfortunately I can't find a single place that is selling them near me. Sad

Atlanta is a hotbed for chicken and waffles. As mentioned above, it's a wonderful combination. I'm just not sure how it would be in a chip.

I like the Pennsylvania-Dutch version. Pulled chicken in breakfast gravy over waffles. Good stuff

My wife bought the chicken and waffle potato chips after I told her about them. While not great, they are not as bad as I thought. They are a bit too sweet and a bit artificial tasting -not too different from BBQ flavored chips in that regard.

So potato chips also appear to be a YMMV thing too. 24
