It came in the mail months ago. Still, I was hesitant to use it.

Ten minutes ago I finished using my Ideal brand, Russian-made knock-off of an adjustable Gillette from a past age.

Not knowing what this was about, I set it to 3 for the first two strokes. Moved it up to 6; ah! Getting adventurous, I set it all the way up to 9. Really nice!

I even got a certain amount of sound feedback. Most of my razors don't make any noise.

So, the mystery is over. I have a satisfactory 13th razor for my arsenal and know what to expect from all of them.

May I start saving money now?

I am pleasantly surprised. The thing in itself is a conversation piece but is functional. You just have to figure out pushing the black plastic base plate into position. Lamentably, I've come only lately to the Cyrillic alphabet; I can't read the instruction manual, dagnabbit! Tongue

I wonder how the Iridium will feel tomorrow?
