Georgetown G-5 and G-20 scuttles: A few weeks ago I break down and order a G-20 scuttle in the same Hamada and Persimmon glaze as my G-5. When it arrives SWMBO says "Those things are UGLY, get rid of them". SO.... I set her down at the Georgetown pottery web site and tell her to pick out 2 in a color SHE likes. SO... Now I have 4 Georgetown scuttles and the "ugly ones" have to go. Personally I like the Hamada and Persimmon glaze better than the "girlie" color she picked out but hey, it's just a scuttle. Right?

Measurements are of the ACTUAL G5 & G20 I am selling which may vary from the Georgetown pottery web site

Georgetown G-20 Scuttle: Specs: Bowl" 4" across, 2 3/4" deep. Overall: 5 1/2" across, 4 1/2" tall. Water capacity 20 oz. This is the new design larger size scuttle from Georgetown pottery. It is large enough to handle even the most massive brushes like the Polo 12, Harvard H6, or 3Xl stubby. The quality and design of Georgetown scuttles are at the top end of what is available

Condition: As New Condition used once (while waiting for the new ones to arrive).

Price: $60.00 NFS

Georgetown G-5 Scuttle: Specs: Bowl" 3 1/2" across at the lip with an additional 1/4" beyond the lather lip, 2 1/2" deep. Overall: 5 1/2" across, 3" tall. Water capacity 20 oz. This is the smaller size scuttle from Georgetown pottery. It works perfectly for small to medium sized brushes. I grab my G5 when using my Kent BK8 or Di Vinci brushes which are not a small brush, by any stretch of the imagination, to give you an idea of how big of a brush it will work with)

The quality and design of Georgetown scuttles are at the top end of what is available

Condition: As New Condition no marks no signs of use.

Price: $40.00 NFS

I think those are quite handsome. And I agree that the quality is top-notch. My Georgetowns perform beautifully. Good luck.

So I am curious, which colors did she pick out for you?! My wife said the same thing when I showed her some of the scuttles. However I think that those are beautiful!
