How do the Edwin Jagger creams compare to the 3 T's?

Anyone tried the new Lime Pomegranate scent?

I've never tried them either. I'm curios about the new scents as well. I'm just not sure if the price tag is worth it considering the tubes are only 75ml.

I have only tried the sandalwood version and smells very good and elegant. No complain at all in performance, behaves pretty well. About the new one, no input.

I got a sample of the Aloe cream with my last Shoebox order and it performed very well. The scent, while subtle, was pleasant and made for an enjoyable shaving experience. Price aside (I honestly don't know what it sells for) I would be happy to have some in rotation alongside my trusty TOBS.

Nice scents, nice lather.
I do think I prefer the 3 T's by a slight margin though and I have no Edwin Jagger/Mühle shaving cream among the 60+ creams in my den.

However their after shave balm, especially the aloe Vera one, is pure heaven and in front of or on par with Penhaligon and Castle Forbes after shave balm.
The shaving cream is NOT Wink

But all in all a nice cream, but overpriced. I would take a tub of any TOBS any day over a Mühle/Edwin Jagger shaving cream. (Like the R89/DE89 razor head, Mühle & EJ also share the same manufacturer of AS balm and shaving cream)

I think the 3TS creams are richer than the EJ creams. I've found the EJ creams to be middle of the road.

I have not used the new scent, but did try the EJ sandalwood.

I found it just about on par with TOBS, which on my personal scale is fairly middle of the road. Personally I'd rather get DRH, Speick, Proraso or Musgo.

I find EJ creams slicker than the 3 T's.

It's quite an underrated one IMO.

I'm keen to try the Lime Pomegranate, but I have way too much software on hand...

Am in total agreement, the Sea Buckthorn is top shelf as far as I'm concerned...

Totally agree with the "underrated" part. I think the (highish) price for pots and tubs on the smaller side put people off...

I have used all of the EJ and Muele creams and out of all of them I have kept the Lime and the Sea Buckthorn...But lately I have been reaching for the TOBS Jermyn Street and Eton College more. Don't get me wrong, they are very much the same in terms of lather, but the scent for the TOBS are just better to my nose.

I did NOT like the Aloe at all and sold both tubes at a great loss from what I paid just so I could get them gone...They could have been old but they just did not perform well at all.

Last Month The English Shaving Company website had a 2 for one sale with free shipping above 30 pounds so it was a score to get the Pomegranite and the Sea Buckthorn tubs...I also got a Chatsworth razor for my dad for Father's Day that he hasn't seen yet. I got the whole order in 5 days to West Coast USA from Sheffield UK!

I got the Cooling Menthol and the Limes @ Pomegranate samples with my razor order and they are really nice...great scent, easy lathering and very refreshing. I have the Sandalwood a/s lotion and the Sea Buckthorn as well..(a bit fruity) but it is quite nice and very soothing.Seems a bit greasy so I probably use too much.
