I am now down to 3 choices. Buying stainless Steel razors.
ASD2 Feather, Ikon SB, Tradere SB. Love the input from
TSN. It really helps having different outlooks from people
in deciding which razor to get.Now any opinions on these
three razors. I am looking for mild to medium. Really do
not like aggressive razors. I have a tough beard but really
sensitive skin. Ok give me you much need advice which one.

All three choices of stainless steel razors are excellent. For shear shaving pleasure and build quality I would go with the iKon Deluxe SB. Its the cheapest out of the three by a long shot.

I like the Ikon SB a lot, but it is an aggressive razor. The Ikon OC is noticeably less aggressive.

I wanted to love the Tradere SB, but I just couldn't reach an accord with it, consequently I sold it. I was unable to achieve a comfortable shave with it. I haven't tried the second generation, because I found it too difficult to find an agreeable angle with the first series.

The iKon SB is a stellar razor. I can only offer praise for this wonderful tool from Greg, but it is moderately aggressive.

So that leaves the Feather. I don't own the D2, but I do intend to remedy that soon. I have the D1 and find it to be a very tolerant and comfortable, yet entirely effective razor. Many have expressed issues with the D1 being ineffective. I have found it to be quite the contrary. So far, I've only read positive reviews of the D2.

Seeing as you wish for mild to moderate, my recommendation is the Feather.

I don't think you could go wrong with any of the 3 you have chosen.

The CNC machined Tradere is the most precision made of the group.

Not sure if Ikon makes a new CNC razor or not

The Feather and the iKon are both SINTERED razors (advanced form of metal casting) while the Tradere is MILLED from blocks of stainless steel.

The Tradere holds the blade at a flatter angle than the Feather and the iKon. That could be good or bad. I think the makers of the Tradere give you a 30 trial with no questions asked. None of the others offer that.

Some say the Feather is too mild. YMMV. Higher resale value than the iKon.

The iKon is of the lowest quality of the three.

Agreed all three are quality instruments, if rating in terms of aggressive to mild (and in that order) it would be Tradere, iKon, Feather... And IMO therein lies the answer to the OP's question...

I agree with Ben. They are all quality tools and you really can't go wrong with any of them. Based on the OP's comments, the decision can be made based on how aggressive each razor is.

Go with the Ikon SB. If you like more aggressive razors you will not like the Feather. Generally speaking the Ikon gets much better reviews than the Tradere.

I like mild to moderate razors and I did not find either the iKon or the Tradere to be mild/moderate. I vote for the Feather. Best razor made IMO.
