guys,

we're aware of an attachment issue on the site after we updated the forum software. the forum software team has been notified of the bug and they're currently looking into it.

for the time being, attachments have been disabled so please use an external host to share your photos (imgur, tinypic, photobucket, etc.). we also have the imgur upload tool on the site that you can use to quickly upload your photos. to find it, just look for the black icon in the text editor with an i.

Thanks for the notice and for working on the problem, Andrew. I guess I don't really see it as a big problem, since the imgur uploader is so easy to use....

no problem. Johnny suggested I put up something so a lot of the credit should go to him. Tongue

Thanks for the heads-up on this issue. I was thinking it was something on my end...now I know what's happening. I don't have an outside source so, I'll be patient and wait for the issue to be resolved. Thanks again.

it's a very strange issue, indeed. the attachments seem to be following around random users, literally.

one day wingdo had probably about 20-25 attachments following him that were definitely not his own attachments, the next day someone else had them and so on.

What is the big blue empty area at the top? Well, empty except for some faint green writing and the social network icons.

Probably needs to clear his cache like we had to this morning after you updated the buttons.

Or he's using Ace Navy which Andrew said was still experiencing problems.

I am afraid you have lost me (easy to do)! Do not know how to do a screen shot, don't know where my cache would be found, and, while a naval aviator, not an ace! When I come to the forum I get the home page but about the top half of the page is blue with faint green letters providing the menus. I can get to the forum either by clicking on the faint green "forum" or by clicking on the "house" icon (which is at the level where the normal screen starts to appear. Not really a problem getting into the forum; just looks a lot different than it did.

Actually, what I think is that everything that use to be horizontally across the top is now arranged vertically, in plain text, in this large blue area. I.e. portal, forums, links, etc.
