Saturday morning Beta son attended his first "official" swim lesson, much to my surprise (and the wife's) he was a model student, listened to his instructor and tried his best...

Only bloat on his behaviour came when it was time to leave, he really! didn't want to get out of the pool... After reassuring (promising) him he will be back next Saturday, he cheered back up and left happy Smile

Hi celestino

No, it's his swim teacher... I'm a long haired layabout, see here...

Take care, Mike

Mike, what wonderful photos of the next great Olympic swimmer. (Eat your heart out, Michael Phelps! Biggrin )

Also, Mike, with the best will in the world, layabout is not a term I would use to describe you. Self-deprecating perhaps; artisan, definitely; hard working, goes without saying. Thumbsup

Last Saturday was Beta son's final swim lesson from his first set of classes (he starts back on 8th June 2013), currently he's more Eric the Eel than the next Thorpedo, but at least he's not a sinking stone...

Mike, this is great. It's good to get him to learn to swim at such a young age.

Oh that brings back memories of long ago. My swimming class was much larger and my instructors were much better looking. I still have my swimming patches stored somewhere. Saying all that, I have not been in the water for the past 35 years.
