Thank you Ben. Biggrin The barber pole pattern reminded me of one of your brushes and that was the motivation.

Barber Pole handle looks awesome! Are you going to have the barber pole in badger as well?

Fab, at that price buy the Barber Pole and if you don't like the Synthetic you could easily have it re-knotted!

I have the badger and find it a little floppy. I suspect that the synthetic might have better backbone anyway...

I'm thinking I should have added one to the order I just placed! Undecided

(I was holding out for a Simpsons, but that now won't be on the agenda as soon as I had thought...)

You have a few hours before your order will ship. Cool

The badger version was a little floppy for my tastes, I'm hoping for more backbone with the synthetic.

A review will follow when it lands!

I used the barber stripe brush for yesterday's shave. It is higher lofted than I am used to but it really ginned up the lather from the Trumper soap that I used (old tallow version). Considering the loft, the backbone was pretty good but this is not a scrubby brush and is probably best suited for bowl lathering. It has a soft face feel and I was rewarded with enough lather for four passes.
