Post those lather shots Biggrin

Let's try to keep it to NEW shots, and not ones we've seen before.

I'll get it stated with today's lather...Mystic Water Coconut and GFT Skin Food Limes used as an "ubber lather" product.

To the left is my lather shot. It's a tasteful little number of hand lathered VanDerWilliams; the VDH for that deep bodied flavor and the Williams for the citrus taste. Very smooth and creamy going down.

To the left is what remains for another shot on an Omega 10019 boar.

Cheers!

I don't generally take SOTD pictures, so I don't have many, but there are some posted in this thread. Here is an older shot of the same Plisson brush, this time with MdC.

This is what's left after three passes. When I got the full-sized jar, I had to re-calibrate how long to load the brush since I was used to using a small sample. That said, in my opinion, the only "wasteful" lather is bad lather made from good soap.

This is so much fun! I just started breaking in 4 boars - Omega 31064, Semogue 830, 1800, 1250. It seems from these four brushes, the 1250 is the best performer out of the box. Here's the second ever lather with it today:

It's a barrel handle. Very comfy in hand!

When I ordered MdC, it arrived within 5 business days, France to Texas. So your wait may not be as long as you anticipate.

Oh, duh - probably what you meant in the first place. It's a faux jade. Some sort of acrylic I suppose, like the faux horn handles you see around. I think Rooney is making some Heritage series brushes of this material right now.
